Outlook: What is OUT IN FRONT?

Bridgette Nicolini: Out In Front is a Long Island based Business Development, Networking Organization for LGBT Entrepreneurs, Professionals and their supporters. Our mission is to assist, support and encourage the growth of Long Island’s LGBT business community through focused initiatives and networking opportunities.

O: Why does Long Island’s GLBT community need a professional networking organization?

BN: Well first, simply because there hasn’t been one and I think we’d all agree that support from any like minded group of individuals in a community is important and here in the professional, business world where traditionally many of us have felt and have been treated as outsiders, it’s empowering to be on the inside, and out in a professional environment with people who identify. read full interview

...Out In Front is another tremendously valuable new business networking group geared for entrepreneurs and professionals in the LGBT community, and is co-sponsored by Capell Vishnick LLP, MetLife, Reach For It Media, Wayout Productions and the Human Rights Campaign. Their last event at Baang in Woodbury was very well attended and it is exciting to see interest build from outside the GLBT community as well.
